1904: Founding of SEI "Société d'Embranchements Industriels".1922: Founding of ACA "Ateliers de Constructions de l'Abbaye".
1976: Founding of "DE DIETRICH, Points and crossings".
1978: Founding of SOCADER "Société de construction d'Appareils de Voie DE DIETRICH and RODANGE" (Merger between ACA and DE DIETRICH A.V.).
1983: SEI quoted on the Paris Stock Exchange.
1984: Founding of COGIFER (Merger between SEI and SOCADER).
1989: Purchase of A. DEHE Entreprises (founded in 1879, specialized in track construction).
1991: Founding of two subsidiaries, DEHE COGIFER TP (track construction), COGIFER INDUSTRIES (manufacture of points and crossings).
1992: DE DIETRICH & Cie, main shareholder of COGIFER, increases its shares to 88%.
1993: Founding of a third dedicated subsidiary, COGIFER SICATELEC (signalling and power distribution).
1993: Purchase by COGIFER of the MONTCOCOL part (created in 1898). Founding of MONTCOCOL TP, subsidiary of DEHE COGIFER TP.
1994: Founding of DEHE COGIFER TF, 100% subsidiary of DEHE COGIFER TP. Name changed from DEHE COGIFER TP to COGIFER TP. COGIFER TP is a public works holding company with two subsidiaries, DEHE COGIFER TF for railway works, and DEHE MONTCOCOL TP for specialized works.
1995: The DE DIETRICH group, main shareholder of COGIFER, increases its shares to 93.47%. COGIFER SICATELEC, the signalling and catenary division, separates its two activities, which becomes COGIFER SIGNALISATION and COGIFER EI CATENAIRES.
1997: The DE DIETRICH group increases its shares in COGIFER to 99,99% and withdraws the company from the market (Paris OTC market). COGIFER TP becomes COGIFER TF and sells its public works activity.
31/12/1997: Merger/absorption of COGIFER INDUSTRIES, COGIFER SICATELEC and COGIFER SIGNALISATION by COGIFER SA.
21/06/1999: COGIFER SA sells its subsidiary COGIFER TF to the mother company DE DIETRICH.
28/11/2001: DE DIETRICH sells its COGIFER shares to the mother company SIH.
30/09/2002: SIH sells all its COGIFER to VOSSLOH FRANCE (100% subsidiary of VOSSLOH) and creates Vossloh Switch Systems company.
01/01/2010: Vossloh Switch Systems brand is renamed to Vossloh COGIFER.
