Very High Speeds
Vossloh Cogifer is a pioneer in the high-speed field, and the preferred supplier of Points and Crossings. The first units were supplied for the South-East TGV (very high speed train) as of 1980. The Vossloh Cogifer technology, and especially the cast manganese frogs with movable crossings, patented by Vossloh Cogifer, and the integrally inclined running table can be crossed by train sets running at the highest speeds. In 2007, the Points and Crossings designed and produced by Vossloh Cogifer was crossed at 560 km/h by the Atlantic TGV.
